About conference

For the second time the Publishing House SFERA held an international conference World Soy – Foods. The event was held 1 – 3 June 2016 in Saint – Petersburg, at the Solo Sokos Hotel Palace Bridge.
Partners of the conference were: The group of companies “Sodruzhestvo” TD “Belagro” and “American Council on exports of soy» (USSEC).

On the conference were discussed the state and prospects of development of world and Russian market of soybean and fodder meals, as well as the cultivation, processing and efficient use of soybeans in feeding. Were raised quality assurance issues and the latest industry innovations.

The business program of the conference included presentations honored workers of science and business, as well as representatives of European and American experts.

Зеленцова внесли крупный вклад в теорию генетики и селекции сои. На основе теории полиплоидной рекомбинации генома разработаны принципы расширения полиморфизма признаков у сои, позволяющие без использования генной инженерии получать формы сои с редкими или отсутствующими в естественном генофонде вида признаками. С. В. Зеленцовым впервые были сформулированы и обоснованы принципы использования в селекции сои источников полулетальных мутаций с естественно накопившимися комплексами компенсирующих генов (ККГ). На их основе была разработана не имеющая аналогов в мире технология создания сортов сои с увеличенной продуктивностью. Практическое применение концепции ККГ в селекции сои позволило С. В. Зеленцову создать ряд высокопродуктивных сортов сои, в производственных условиях юга России, обеспечивающих формирование до 5,7 т/га семян. С. В. Зеленцов – автор и соавтор 28 высокопродуктивных сортов сои, внесённых в Государственный реестр селекционных достижений РФ и получивших широкое распространение в сельскохозяйственном производстве Южного федерального округа РФ. Доля посевной площади этих сортов только в хозяйствах Краснодарского края составляет до 60 % от общей посевной площади сои. Уникальный по высокой урожайности сорт сои Вилана, основным автором которого является С. В. Зеленцов, способен формировать в промышленном производстве рекордные для России урожаи – до 5,7 т/га. В хозяйствах Краснодарского края только один этот сорт занимает более 50 % всех посевных площадей, обеспечивая стабильно высокие валовые сборы товарной сои. Постановлением Главы администрации Краснодарского края А. Н. Ткачёва С. В. Зеленцову присвоено почётное звание «Заслуженный деятель науки Кубани». In 1985 – graduated at the Faculty of Agronomy of the Kuban Agricultural Institute. In 1986 he entered the Russian Research Institute of oilseeds named by V.S. Pustovoyt in “breeding and seed production of field crops.” In 1995 he defended his thesis. Since 2005 – Doctor of Agricultural Sciences in the specialty plant breeding and seed production. His research made a major contribution to the theory of genetics and breeding of soybeans. He was the first who developed the basic provisions of the theory of polypoid recombination of genome-based structured recombinogenesis homologous chromosomes. On the basis of the theory of polypoid recombination of genome developed principles extension polymorphism traits in soybeans, allowing free use of genetically engineered soy getting forms with rare or absent in the natural gene pool of species traits. Sergey’s principles used in soybean breeding half-lethal sources were first formulated and proved natural mutations accumulated compensatory gene complexes (CGC). On this basis, it has been developed which has no analogues in the world of technology for creating soybean varieties with increased productivity. Practical application of the concept of CGC in soybean breeding allowed him to create a number of high-yield varieties of soybean in production conditions in southern Russia, ensuring the formation of up to 5.7 t / ha seed. By the Head of Administration of Krasnodar A.N. Tkachev were given the honorary title “Honored Worker of Science of Kuban”.

Nan-Dirk graduated in agricultural economics, marketing and market research from the Netherlands’ Wageningen Agricultural University in 1996. Before his appointment at Rabobank International, Nan-Dirk worked for the Product Boards for Livestock, Meat and Eggs (PVE) and the Agricultural Economic Research Institute (LEI) in the Netherlands. Since joining Rabobank International, Nan-Dirk advises the bank on global commitments in the animal protein sectors. He has been also involved in the bank’s many advisory and research activities in these sectors and has build up an in-depth knowledge about strategic issues in these industries. He obtained scientific, administrative and managerial experience in the field of agricultural commodities. His career started from a position within the Ministry for Agriculture Russian Federation. Next he was employed in one of the EU-countries, where joint trade and investment projects in agriculture became his core responsibility. While working in one of the major Japanese trade houses Evgeny promoted build-up of new supply chains for Russian grains to be shipped to Asia. Later he held a role of market analyst in Russian farming enterprise with Western funding. Evgeny heads Division for Agricultural Market Analysis at Rusagrotrans CJSC since August 2014. Rusagrotrans CJSC is the largest railway infrastructure operator for transportation of grain and other agricultural cargos by specialized rolling stock. С 1987 г., по окончании аспирантуры Всероссийского научно-исследовательского ветеринарного института птицеводства, работал здесь же младшим, затем старшим научным сотрудником отдела опухолевых болезней птиц (1987–1993). С 1993 г. возглавлял ООО «Кронвет». Iani CHIHAIA is an Eastern European based consultant in animal nutrition and feed production from Bucharest, Romania concentrating on promoting the efficient use of ingredients, current nutrition and formulation concepts for non-ruminant animals and technology transfer in the area of soy processing for animal feeding. He works with USSEC (ASA-IM) and has extensive experience in market development in his region. Iani holds a Ph. D. in Poultry Nutrition from Bucharest Agricultural University and has been involved with the feed and livestock industries for the past 19 years. Among this period, he was involved in different local and regional projects evaluating the use of different feed materials, in particular cereals and oilseeds meals with the goal to best understand and manage the market, to establish balance sheets and to estimate the annual demand for feed concentrates in the region. As Editor in Chief of the Romanian Feed Industry Magazine he wrote and published over 35 technical press articles and gave presentation at national, regional and international events. Currently he is involved as Executive Director of the Romanian Feed Manufactures Association.
